Ok D so this by your definition this is atrocious...i wonder what you consider wearing a one piece bathing suit? outrageous? While she may be technically nude on the cover you can see more going to your local public pool. And in response beauty is power though whether or not that's a good thing is another debate. I'm guessing you're a bit of a prude if this sets a fire in your judgmental, preaching, I'm holier than thou mentality. I'm willing to bet this will inspire and encourage more people(those with and without disabilities) than all your ranting will ever do. Ahh I love the smell of ignorance in the morning...oh wait I hate the smell oops I goofed. Congratulations D! You've just joined the Jerry Falwell Club of Ignorant, Judgmental, Biased, and totally Delusional Morons! And no D! For the millionth time, no matter how many times you try it the square peg does not, I repeat NOT!, go into the circle.

This is disgusting! All six of these athletes could have retained their images as positive role models for young people--most notably aspiring athletes--by not agreeing to do this atrocious, smutty publicity stunt. Instead of doing the responsible thing and retaining their dignity and professionalism, however, they sexualize themselves just so people of the opposite sex can ogle at their unclothed bodies. I'm especially disgusted with the woman, the least of which being Ms. Reinersten here, seeing as ESPN's magazine is catered to the 18-35 male demographic, and I am positive that AT LEAST half of the young men reading this issue will be seeing these four women as sex symbols more than athletes and aren't the least bit going to be phased by the whole "beauty is power" mentality that these photos are apparently supposed to convey.

Congratulations, Reinersten and company; you've just joined the Amanda Beard Club of fallen female role models in the athletic world. Hope you're proud of yourselves in all your publicity-seeking vanity.
