It just goes to show that they IOC cares about the bottom dollar and doesn't really put the safety of the spectators high on their list of things to worry about. Chicago is a dump, plain and simple. All the Olympic contracts would have been handed out as patronage deals, all the profits would be eaten up with the astronomical tax rates paid, and innocent people would be shaken down for parking ticket "fines" and other "infractions". Chicago is a dump, and until government and patronage and the losing culture of sports change, Chicago does not deserve anything. Rio 2016!
