Having trouble finding that perfect Christmas gift for that special someone? Not sure what you want this year? Unless you’re from Houston or China, Yao Ming-related merchandise probably isn’t high on your list. But after you see this, you’re totally going to want one:

That’s right, it’s the Yao Ming Transformer! Or, at least I think it’s Yao. It would be kind of disappointing if it was just Wang Zhizhi. It’s also unclear if and where these are available for sale. I hear the Tracy McGrady toy is flashy, but always gets stuck during the first step of its transformation.

WEBACG, a Chinese site that looks like it’s devoted to anime and toys seems to be the source of the photos, which were then posted on HOOPS CHINA amongst a bunch of Chinese characters and the word “Yao.” It was then picked up by BALL DON’T LIE, where we found the pics.

I used a Firefox translator add-on to try and decode the original HOOPS CHINA post, to see what kind of info was available about the toy. And I think I ended up with more questions than answers:
