Word up from the AOL’s NBA blogs via the site Media Take Out.com reports that Houston Rockets center Yao Ming has a love interest.

The 7-foot-6 Great Wall of China has a thang for the 5-foot-2 actress Nia Long.

They say Ming developed a crush on her after becoming a fan of the “Fresh Prince of Bel Aire” in China (she had a recurring role as Will Smith’s main squeeze named Lisa). He’d been pestering her to go out with him, and she finally yielded, apparently admitting no one knew she was still an actress anymore and in need of some pub.

This is wrong on so many levels. She’s 10 years older than him (36 vs. 26). She’s a short woman named Long; he’s a long man named Yao. She has a six-year-old kid. And imagine Yao taking her home to meet his Big Momma’s House.

At least Ms. Long has a screen credit that may be useful in a relationship with Yao: “How to Get the Man’s Foot Out of Your Ass.”
