I don't know what Canzano expects a team from Oregon to do every year. It's not like 5-star recruits grow on trees in the area. Bellotti is at a huge disadvantage in recruiting and yet he manages to finish in the top half of the Pac-10 nearly every year.

I've never seen a local columnist go after a team the way Canzano does to the ducks. He has become unreadable.

If the Ducks are stuck in a rut, then maybe it's better they start fresh with a new coach. And they better grab Petersen before anyone else does.

Chris should be cautious if he decides to leave Boise. His previous precedessors haven't had that much luck. Dan Hawkins is struggling at Colorado, Dirk Koetter didn't last too long at Arizona State, and Houston Nutt was kicked out of Arkansas before landing at Ole Miss.
