B-BALLER BOASTING & BRAGGING HIS WAY TO BAD BLOOD: Highly-sought basketball recruit Willie Warren has been making fast friends in the past few weeks:

As shaken out by the college b-ball blog GOOD ‘N PLENTY, the HS senior from Texas had some brash words for Mr. Bryant at Kobe’s Skills Academy. “I told him that in a game to five, I’d give him four points.” to which Kobe responded with laughter.

Warren was the only player at the clinic not to take a picture with Kobe or LeBron James, his excuse being that he might end up playing against them someday(?).

As far as collegiate choice, ROCK CHALK TALK discovers what Warren is looking for in educational opportunities: “I want to get in and make an immediate impact. I don’t want to go to a school where if I don’t play well right away, I can be substituted for.”

Baylor was just the school to offer him this condition, but Warren’s mom vetoed the vocal pledge and took away her son’s cell phone.
