When Tiger Woods plays the WGC at Doral he NEVER, EVER leaves a tip to any of the staff in the member’s locker room. On the other hand, Phil Mickelson hands out tips like the Fed prints money. Phil always leaves $4,000 for three of the locker room staff to split - WIN or LOSE. I also noticed Lefty honors his fans. At the end of his practice round Phil signed autographs in the gallery until EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE had an autograph. Tiger marches by the gallery ropes with a straight gaze so as to avoid eye contact with his fans pleading for autographs. What did you think Tiger? You could treat the little people like dirt and then expect them to cover up all your extramarital flings?

Celebs and sports players dont tip because they are used to getting the butts kissed and getting just about everything for free so it doesnt surprise me they dont tip. but dont make it a black or white thing, try to remember there are more than just two races in the world.

I own a service business that serve both black and white clienteles. In general, whites are a lot better tipper than blacks and less demanding. If you compare charitable contribution made between the two groups, black people should be embarrass. Obama is horrible when it comes to charity donation. A black friend of mine told me that black people fight mostly over money.

I'm a cocktail waitress at a cigar bar in Baltimore and Ray Lewis is notorious for not tipping. He never tips valets at all and rarely even leaves 10% for his servers, even for private parties!! When Kyle Boller was here he was pretty bad too, often walking out on bills entirely (probably a good thing since he no longer has any income!) On the other hand, Steve Biscotti is a ridiculously good tipper!

There are white people who don't tip either. I've worked in restaurants. Go to West Virginia and see how well you get tipped.

No surprise. St. Eldrick doesn't tip because there's no fawning, man-crush commentator nearby to gush, "Noone does it better!"
