Lifetime bar code put on fans wrists??? How would they enforce lifetime bans otherwise?

and who cares about pouring beer on an opposing teams fan. What the hell do you think will happen if you're a Cubs fan going into Dodger Stadium??

I know that a few years back when the Bills were in Seattle taking on my Seahawks (and we were getting blown out) this idiot Bills fan who wouldn't stop talking shit about how good "his" team was, he was sitting in the Hawks nest the seat in front of me, poured a full beer on him, he whined and wouldn't stop yelling, and he got kicked out of the stadium while everyone in the Hawks Nest said it wasn't me and that it had been thrown from above, so I got to stay...

That's what you get for being a Bills fan wearing the gayest Bills hardhat I've ever seen and coming into Quest Field tryin to sit in the Hawks Nest...common sense

With the bar code technology on every ticket, I would think they might be able install some sort of ban list based on that.

Banning fans would work more so to keep casual fans from engaging in unruly behavior. Knowing that there is a potential cost for such behavior, these fans would be less likely to engage in mob violence. As R mentioned, actually enforcing the ban would be difficult, but most fans who would pour a beer on another fan would want to avoid the inconvenience and discomfort that comes with being on a "banned fan" list. If there is a cost assigned to unruly behavior, then it would reduce the draw of such behavior for the majority of fans.

Not sure how they could effectively banish fans here in the U.S. Sure, season-ticket holders could have their tickets taken away from them, regardless of whether it is from their own conduct or that of their guests. But any specific fan who wants to get in can just buy their ticket from any number of sources - a scalper, a broker, or online using someone else's credit card. I doubt those taking tickets at the gates are going to be able to spot out a repeat offender.
