“CO-HOST” COWHERD PROBABLY GOT PAID IN FERTILIZER: Everyone’s favorite fecal matter-filled pinata, Colin Cowherd (aka “Shrutebag”), scored a major career coup this week by hosting the ESPYs … in Fresno:
“The second annual ESPN1430 Radio ESPY awards were presented last Saturday evening at the William Saroyan Theater in Fresno. The festivities were co-hosted by ESPN’s Colin Cowherd and 1430 ESPN Radio’s own Paul Swearengin. The awards, sponsored by KFIG-1430 radio, honored the area’s top high school, college and pro athletes and teams.”
Oops, sorry. Make that CO-HOSTED.
It must’ve been quite a night for the good folks at Buchanan High School. The school’s girl’s soccer team (high school team of the year) and wrestler Ryan Flores (male athlete of the year) not only garnered top honors, but also received their hardware from the Central Valley’s #1 AM Radio star!
And the night was a win-win all around, considering Shrutebag is now that much closer to scoring a fill-in for Craig Ferguson!
