SITE HOPES TO BRING KG FROM 10,000 LAKES TO LAKERS: Getgarnett.com wants the Timberwolves star in La-La land:

The site is devoted to inticing Kevin Garnett to flee the Land of 10,000 Lakes for the Land of 10,000 Flakes. But it’s not just KG’s show - other players are pressed through the Lakers rumor mill, such as Grant Hill and Jermaine O’Neal.

But it’s hard to tell how die-hard these Lakers fans are, as the site references Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as “LOU Alcindor”.

Of course, they should really know that the real answer to the Lakers’ current woes stands 6′5″ (with the afro, 6′9″):

But you have to credit these guys in hoping that such grass roots efforts will sway team management. As Fred Roggin of KNBC put it (right on their intro page): “The power of the people will NEVER be defeated!”
