KNBC in Los Angeles reports that Gretzky and wife Janet are selling off their stuff in order to help raise money for schools in the SoCal town of Westlake Village.
The event is scheduled for October 27, and such items to be touted on the tables include, “Luxurious home furnishings, recreational items, off-road vehicles, clothing and shoes, and limited-edition jerseys.”
As an added bonus, the Gretzkys will also be popping the cork with signed bottles of their new Wayne Gretzky Estate Wines.
Proceeds from the yard sale will help fund a new baseball stadium for Oaks Christian School, and also raise some money for programs at Carden Conejo School.
Afterwards, we hope Wayne remembers to take down all the fliers stapled to the telephone poles.
