The ARIZONA REPUBLIC reports that two Washington D.C. policemen were injured in a motorcycle accident on the way to FedEx Field. The cops were escorting the Cardinals’ buses to their Sunday contest against the Redskins.
One of the injured officers had to be airlifted to the hospital. Although their condition was unknown, Arizona officials said the two policemen were conscious and talking. Despite the accident, the visitors’ buses made it to FedEx on time.

It could have been worse for the cops - they could have made it to the stadium, and actually have to watch the Cardinals & Redskins play.
But they did crash on a major interstate that leads to Fedex Field, possibly causing many drivers heading that way to miss most of the game. Just shows how dedicated these men of the law are in trying to protect the public.
