Because he wouldn't take a picture with some college kid? Thats overstating things a tad, don't you think? LeBron is by some accounts, a cranky guy after games. He doesn't mingle a lot with fans, and isn't the most talkative and accessible guy around. Big deal...at least he's not dating 15 year old country singers, murdering dogs, or inciting riots in Detroit (those things I would file under "despicable"). How can you say he's selfish and "doesn't need people?" Have you met him? Do you know him personally? Also, don't you think the perceived image problem in the NBA is as much racially motivated as anything else? The NBA is "the black league"...and apparently that makes it "not as wholesome".
