Police Video: Vince Young Fight In Dallas Stripclub

The DALLAS MORNING NEWS reports Sunday afternoon:

Video Vince Young In Strip Club Fight

(Video of Vince Young strip club fight posted below)

The Dallas Police Department issued Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young a Class C assault citation for his role in a Sunday morning altercation at a Dallas strip club that left one person injured.

Officials said they reviewed a tape of the incident and interviewed witnesses before issuing the citation, which is punishable by a fine of up to $500.

The altercation broke out “after words were exchanged” at Club Onyx, with the first call to police at 3:38 a.m.

Club security made a second call to police at 4:06 a.m., and an ambulance was called at about 5:30 a.m. Police believe Young left the scene before officers arrived, a DPD official said.

Holly Yan of the KDAF-TV in Dallas has more details of the altercation - and it sounds like “words” had nothing to do with what caused the fight.

A Dallas police source told The 33 News the current Tennessee Titans quarterback was attempting to exchange cash, possibly for single dollar bills, at Club Onyx when someone started making disparaging remarks about the Texas Longhorns. Police say one person made an upside-down “Hook ‘em, Horns” hand gesture, and a physical altercation ensued.

Young is accused of busting an employee’s lip.

Titans spokesman Robbie Bohren: “We are aware of the report about Vince Young. The organization has been in touch with Vince and we will continue to gather addition information.

Here’s the video of the incident:

Young was previously scheduled to play in Jeff Fisher’s annual charity softball game today in Nashville. As you would expect, that didn’t happen.

From the video of the incident, obviously Young was the aggressor but it’s hard to make out if he landed a cleaned punch on the individual he was pursuing. Of course, going ballistic in a strip club at 4am over a hand gesture is incredibly inadvisable in the first place and shows that Young is still, somehow, prone to misjudgements.

He’s very, very lucky things didn’t turn out worse for him last night.

I hope The Titans are prepared for life without him for about 4-6 games this year. Ben gets 6 games for not being charged, Vince Young may get the whole season for that citation.

Why are NFL QB’s turning into mega douchebags?

    Eric Walker is an idiot.

must be a steeler fan or something, to compare what ben did and what vince did. first off, ben got accused of rape and this is the SECOND time. vince got a citation for a half assed fight. he might get a game or 2 suspension. nothing more.

Vince is out of his freaking mind. Doesnt he know that sports stars and stripclubs should never be put in the same sentence. Plus any shady worker from a strip club is looking for just one thing MONEY… lawsuit!!!

First being from Houston I know Big Daddy Bud Adams… doesn’t like negative press and if this is Vince’s ploy to get out of Tennesee, it may work if he is interested in joining Dante Culpepper is the UFL…

Stupid is a s stupid does… Look for the commish to lay hands on this brother… One game suspension and anger management classes….

When will the NFL start weeding out these players who cannot or will not behave in a law abiding way?

Most every “common” person is required to live according to the rules and laws of society. And, when they break these rules or laws, they are required to pay the consequence as set forth by society. Many times they are even removed from society for an extended period of time.

Not so with the players in the NFL (and other pro sports). One is involved in a killing and faces no charges. Another is involved in a rape and faces no charges. Still another is involved in assault and battery and faces a small fine.

What happens when a “common” person is involved in such crimes? If convicted, he or she is weeded out of society…for an extended period of time

When will society hold NFL players to the same rules and laws that the “common” person must live by? When will the fans be spared the unending spectacle of NFL perps eluding justice? Again, when the NFL start weeding out its law breakers?

AMAZING how everyone seems to jump to the conclusion that VY is the aggressor in this.

Considering the video has NO audio, there is no way of telling who said what to who, who challenged who, who provoked who first, etc, etc, etc.

Why not let the investigators and the law do their job FIRST - before condeming an athlete for something he may or may NOT have started.

Who cares who said what to whom? The problem started when Vince Young made contact with the employee. Very stupid on his part. Should be at home counting his money.

I heard he only connected on 47% of his punches and 2 were intercepted. He was booed by the strippers on the way out and went and cried in his car.

VY is a fool. One minute he’s crying telling people he can’t take it any more driving around with guns and having his family worried he might take his own life. Then he loses his job to a washed up old man and has to watch from the side lines for a year and a half. And when he finally wins back the starting job what does he do? He goes to titty bars in Dallas and gets in bar fights of course. What a ‘tard.

Funny… It seems like the Ags are the one who backed down from the SEC. Y’all are like the freckle-faced little brother following the ‘Horns around wherever they go. They just want to hang with the “big boys” and feel like one of them.
