Video: Jeff Reed Crying On The Steeler Sideline?

It’s a good thing Jeff Reed has done some good things in his career with the Steelers, because he was flat-out brutal in the fourth quarter of today’s 17-14 loss to the Bears in Chicago. Reed missed two field goals in the period, then looked like he was crying on the sideline as Chicago’s Robbie Gould connected on the game-winner with seconds remaining. Dude needs a hug:

Jeff Reed

It’s alright, buddy. You came through last week. It doesn’t always happen for you. You’re going to be…wait, this is football, quit your bawlin’!

Videos-a-plenty after the jump.

There is, apparently, crying in football:

Here’s Reed’s shank that ended up costing them a chance at the win:

Reed, as you might now, is well-known for his shirtless antics in Vegas, as well as his hatred for towel dispensers.

That wasn’t all the entertainment today’s game provided. On a big third-down play in the third quarter, Phil Simms forgot to turn his mic off when he needed to relieve some gassy build-up in his chest:

Is Cutler redeemed, or did Pittsburgh give this one away? I guess time will tell how good the Bears really are.

Glad you Bears fans are getting your rocks off to this “courageous” effort by Jay Cutler. Cutler is a glorified .500 QB at best and you will soon find this out you Bears queers. As for Jeff Reed, he is one of the clutchest kickers in the last 10 years. This was Robbie Gould’s most meaningful field goal of his career, congratulations Bears you’re 1-1.

haha, greg why are you so upset, im not even a bears fan but this was a good game for jay cutler to rebound from his bears opener, stop hating. he has talent and im sure he will have a good career. lol if he isnt as good as people think how was he able to rip the steelers defense up and help them win this game he threw. jeff reed might be a clutch kicker, but that doesnt make up for his crying on the sideline because he cant couldnt get it done last night… good game congratz to bears fans good luck next week and as for the steelers good luck thinking yall will make it to the superbowl haha

Unless I’m mistaken the steelers still have the most superbowl rings. I guarentee they make it farther in the playoffs than the bears…

well the past is the past move on… maybe big bens big rape is actually lingering over his head, and i guess the steelers are going to have to fight for a wild card spot because they will be 3rd in that division this year watch…. good hopefully the vikings take that division, no one here is claiming bears are good… im just here to make fun of jeff reed being a cry baby over a game that you guys are claiming to be “no big deal”… kristen suck my dingie

Lets talk about previous superbowls and how meaningful they are….
chiefs have won a superbowl does that mean anything now?
the cowboys have won superbowls does that mean anything this season?….

    now lets talk this season….
FACT: THE 49ERS HAVE A BETTER CHANCE OF WINNING AND TYING FOR 6 SUPERBOWL WINS THAN THE STEELERS HAVE OF APPEARING IN ANOTHER ONE…

and i dont even like the 49ers either….

Hah you’re just showing how much of an idiot you are pal. Big Ben does ,what Cutler did for one of the first times in his career, on a regular basis, not to mention leading the greatest drive in NFL history last Super Bowl. And the 49ers better than the defending champs? Hah, laughable. The Steelers are the best NFL franchise of all time and will always be. Please dont mention Jay Cutlers name in the same sentence with Big Ben. Ben’s all time win loss record 60-23, Cutler’s 18-20. Ben will have four rings before Cutler even sniffs a Super Bowl.

steelers offense sucks, quit acting like ben is an elite quarterback, oh yeah greg did i mention you stink? i didnt say the steelers arent better htan the 49ers i said they have a better chance, due to the fact they ar ein an easy division… easy division = easy play off berth… who is the idiot? and they will not make it to the superbowl however the 49ers have an easy play off berth (chance) gives them a better opportunity to make it all the way… idiot…. oh yeah did i mention you stink, get off the bandwagon… “pal”

It was a hard fought and close game all the way through. The Bears edged the Steelers in the same fashion that the Steelers edged the Titans. Both teams are elite. It is a matchup that will go 5 each way outta 10 meetings.

I’m sure Pittsburgh will go farther than the bears, right up until Ben gets nailed for nailing without permission, if you know what I mean.

As it stands today, the Steelers are 4-2, giving them a better record than the Bears after the Bears loss to the Falcons. Conclusion: the Bears suck.

“Greg Lloyd you stink”: face the facts and the statistics. Big Ben is an elite QB: look at his passer rating and completion percentage (best in the NFL). He’s also second in yards, second to Peyton Manning. Not to mention, he holds a ton of Steelers records at QB and owns two superbowl rings. Do some research before you post retarded comments.

jerome36… first of all jerome36… U STINK… just like ben… second of all i do my research big ben’s first superbowl completing just nine of 21 passes for 123 yards and two interceptions; his passer rating of 22.6 was the lowest in Super Bowl history…. ben worthlessburger sucks… so do shittsburghs running backs receivers and most of their defense… it must sadden you do know that deep down you know they wont make it to the playoffs…. second… who cares about the bears? you sit there and make it a point to point out their record? no one cares…. U STINK BEN STINKS SHITTSBURGH STINKS… GTFO YOU MORON…
