US Border Patrol Sponsors NASCAR Entry

UNITED STATES BORDER PATROL SPONSORS NASCAR ENTRY: OFFICER.com reports than in an effort to step up recruitment, the United States Border Patrol is now sponsoring a NASCAR entry - the #28 car driven by Jay Robinson.

NASCAR Border Patrol #28

The website reports that “the border patrol currently has about 14,600 agents nationwide and about 13,100 along the southern border alone. Agents caught 764,219 people trying to cross borders from October 2006 to July 2007. All agents begin their careers along the border with Mexico.

With the gigantic influx of illegal aliens crossing the border into our Southern California, we applaud the effort by the Border Patrol. The sponsorship also gives new meaning to the oft-used auto racing term “spoiler“.
