UCF Loses to Miami, But Totally Flips Off Crowd

ATTENTION READERS: you may want to leave the room or visit another, friendlier site, because the image we’re going to show you is disturbing. We’ve done the best we can to remove the most offensive parts of it so that it’s fit for consumption by the hardiest of souls, but even knowing the hate that went behind these gestures is enough to make most people lose their dinner. Press on, if you dare.

Middle Finger Babies

Oh God, no! The horror, the horror!

That’s Central Florida’s Darin Baldwin and Joe Burnett, unleashing a fusillade of enmity at fans at Saturday’s UCF-Miami game. Doubtless the children who attended the game are now scarred for life. Miami would go on to win, 20-14, but when middle fingers go up, everybody loses.

Already, columnists are lining up to condemn the gesture with all the forced bluster we’re accustomed to seeing from the media elite; THE WIZARD OF ODDS went so far as to call it a candidate for “Classless Act of the Year.” Never mind that in all likelihood, it wasn’t even the most classless act of the game, these guys put certain fingers up, folks, and THAT is awful.

For the sickest viewers of SbB, the ones who probably watch the really weird porn where the guys wear animal costumes or the chicks pretend to be dead and stuff,  there is video of the heinous gesture in action:

Where does it end, UCF? You let middle fingers go up on Saturday, and the world’s probably over by sundown Tuesday.

Seriously, does anyone honestly care about middle fingers? At all? No, right? The answer’s no? Tell me nobody cares about this stuff.

I've seen worse gestures at Fenway, and even toward people who deserve it.

Guy on the left wasn't flipping the bird, he was mocking Miami fans with the "U" sign.

This is disappointing - because it didn't result in a fun brawl. If only Florida International were there:

Guy on the left must be a Rays fan. Note the Rayhawk.

The Miami Hurricanes would never expect such behavior from their own upstanding, law-abiding players.

I recieved similar hand signals from many UM fans at the game… Perhaps the players were confused and thought it was some sort of Miami welcome gesture.  I can't say that I blame them.  Though, while the middle finger says hello, nothing makes opposing fans feel welcome quite like the shower of beer that we recieved from the upper bowl.
