GATOR GF GETS FLORIDA’S JOINER INTERCEPTED BY POLICE: There’s more fun off-the-field with the Florida Gators today.

In the wake of three University of Florida football players being questioned by police about a shooting last Saturday night, the GAINESVILLE (FL) SUN reports today that Gators defensive back Tony Joiner “was arrested early Tuesday and charged with burglary” by local police.
Joiner is “accused of pushing a heavy electric gate open to enter the lot in an attempt to retrieve his girlfriend’s car which was being held in lieu of a $76 towing bill.”

As starting quarterback of the Gators, you’d have thought Joiner’s girlfriend could’ve afford the bill?
The best part of Joiner getting cuffed and stuffed: While he was going in to get the car, cops heard Joiner talking into the phone and saying, “I am probably about to go to jail ‘cuz I did push the gate open.’“
