Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints made it impossible to be a cynical media-type tonight.
First (and last) victory parade I cared about was ‘85. Royals. Senior in high school.
24 years later, I’m looking forward to #2.

That moment brought tears to my eyes, too. I have a 15 month old son and maybe that had something to do with it but I don’t care. Great to see CBS staying on that shot instead of immediately cutting away to more generic celebration footage.

This was awesome to see. I would have been happy with either champion but obviously the Saints are worthy titlists! God Bless Drew Brees, this from a Broncos fan hoping Brees’ fellow Purdue alum Kyle Orton will be in this position next season!
