Much like the U.S. soccer team in the Confederations Cup, Terrell Owens and Joanna Krupa faced certain elimination in ABC’s time-wasting action-packed series “The Superstars,” only to come back in semi-triumph. Yes, America’s favorite couple are still alive, as you surely know from watching last night. What do you mean you read a book instead? This isn’t Russia! (It isn’t Russia, is it?).
The Dysfunctional Duo made us all chortle last week during the show’s debut, when Owens had a little trouble with the obstacle course and caused his team to be the first one eliminated. Krupa, not amused by T.O.’s clumsiness, went all Kate Gosselin on him, to everyone’s horror/amusement (pick one). Krupa talked about her meltdown recently on ESPN’s “First Take” with Dana Jacobson, video below.
Due to injury (Jennifer Capriati is down! No!), Owens-Krupa were back this week, and they made it to Round 3! Huzzah!
Highlights for the YouTube impaired:
“I’m the type of person who speaks my mind, and I say how I feel, and I did not feel that my teammate was giving 100 percent,” Krupa said. “When I signed up for the show, I’m like, OK, I’m going to give it 100 percent. My career’s very diversified; everything I do I do with the fullest passion. And to have somebody that wasn’t so into it … I knew that he was preoccupied with another project, plus the Buffalo Bills, I was a little upset.
“There were some other things on the set, some things with Warren Sapp,” she said. “Things started building, and I lost it.”
Relive the glory below:
Speaking of Sapp, toward the end of the first video above, you’ll see Krupa get into it with him over Michael Vick. When did you get all Jerry Springer on us, ABC?

Amazing. I understand this is newsworthy here (Ms. Krupa’s body) but ESPN? It’s too bad Ms. Krupa likes to talk and thinks she has something worthwhile to say. This explains why she’s been much more successful in endeavors that exclude her from talking and more so exclude her voicing her learned opinions.
Good grief.

… so, she’s amazing for voicing her opinion but I’m an idiot who’s supposed the STFU because I’m voicing my opinion. I’ll take this as a reward and complement for being “right on the money” since it annoys one with such communication skills.

That horroble lady came back…disgusting. She is such a poor sport she is no sport at all, just some spoiled non-celebrity. Better to give another eliminated team a second chance then let that nasty woman return. How unfair to the good sports…the real competitors. Shame on ABC, too!
