The important distinction between what happened to Erin Andrews (assuming that like me you do not credit theories that she was part of the scheme) is that this tape was taken without her permission, in a place where she had every right of an expectation of privacy. We are not talking about paps snapping her as she sunbathes topless on a yacht in Monaco harbor.

This might be Brooks’ way of saying this is too creepy, crosses a line even for him - and yes, he’s done plenty, plenty, plenty to objectify women (and Erin Andrews) on this site. And I think most people would agree with him as far as that goes.

Is Brooks a hypocrite? Insofar as he gleefully fills the site with skin - sure. But maybe it’s nice to know there’s a still a sense that even he is willing to draw a line - and so far as I know, every chick pic he’s posted has been posed or at least in public. And I hope that doesn’t change.

Being worried about Erin Andrews? Worry about the fact that the hotels where the footage was recorded are hotels were ANYBODY’s footage might be recorded, not just a celebrity’s. Even more than the name of the guy with the camera/video, the names of those hotels are important to the general public.
