The Auckland-based NEW ZEALAND HERALD reports a statement made today by the caddy of Tiger Woods, Steve Williams.
“I do not have any personal knowledge of anything in the reports related to the Tiger Woods’ stories. Kirsty and I give our heartfelt wishes to Tiger, Elin, Sam and Charlie and hope this gets put to rest soon,” he said, referring to his own wife and Woods’ immediate family.
Considering the alleged scope of Woods’ reported affairs, I think most of us have the same, reasonable reaction to Williams’ statement.
Williams’ denial of any “personal knowledge” about “Tiger Woods’ stories” is nothing more than a formality in my opinion. He personally has millions of reasons to unconditionally support Woods - in more ways than one.
Not to mention that if Woods’ wife Elin Nordegren suspected Williams knew of her husband’s transgressions, I’m guessing she’d try to force Williams off Team Tiger.

I think it is possible for Steve to be unaware of Tiger’s transgressions, Elin lives with him and she apparently did not know. My guess is she was suspicious, if not why the whispering voicemail, and why was she checking his phone in the first place.

Wife isn’t really going to take him back. She and Mom are just making him think there’s a chance if he comes along to Sweden. Regardless of the relationship Elin and Tiger had with each other, the kids are the ones who suffer. No one seems to be concerned about them. What has Tiger, as a father, taught his children about morals and marriage? To believe the kids are never going to know is naive.
If their relationship was not on solid ground, and I say IF because there is no way for me to know, then they had a responsibility not bring children into this world.
I truely believe if you were to take a pole about what children want in a family, almost overwhelmingly the response would be for a mom and dad who are married and respect each other. Part of respecting your spouse means that no matter how much temptation you are faced with, you do not act.
So in the least, Tiger has no respect for Elin. Why that is, is between the two of them. Too bad their children do not have a healthy family unit to grow up in.

For anyone who has followed the PGA for a while they will recognize Stevie Williams as one of the if not probably the best caddy out there. People who are as good at what they do as Stevie is don’t concern themselves with their “Boss’s” personal life, seriously. The only person that worked the game of golf more than Tiger probably is Stevie Williams, and I am sure their are many tour personel that would back that statement up. Besides, when Tiger isn’t in a tournement Stevie is usually at home (New Zealand by the way) racing and working his own charity.He doesn’t pay attention to Tiger’s personal life!

I’ve been a mistress for the last 3.5 years and the only person that knows I exist in his life… is his wife. His best friend of 20+ years that he works with every day has no idea. We see each other 1-4 times a week for several hours during the day in which he leaves work to do. I’ve even been in the same place that he’s been in with friends and we’ve left together and friends are clueless.
That’s the point of DISCRETION. No one should know. Do I believe Steve? No. I think the ‘celebrity’ lifestyle lends fortitude to working a little harder to cover tracks. Being away… hotels… etc… would lead to Steve at least figuring it out.

Why are Journalists so cruel and people so gullible to absorb negative news. Why do we subcribe to the media frenzy.
