PALM BEACH POST gossip Jose Lambiet has fresh intel today on Tiger Woods‘ alleged mistress, Rachel Uchitel.
Uchitel is the granddaughter of powerful Cleveland banker and amateur golfer Warner Bishop, who moved to The Island with a much younger wife in the 1990s. He died in 2001 at 82. And her mom is socialite Susan Bishop.
She’s a descendant of a prominent golfer? Perfect.
A “local society maven” in Palm Beach told Lambiet, “She may come off as sleazy now, but she’s from old money, even if there isn’t much of that old money left for her.”
Uchitel’s mother lives in Palm Beach in $600K condo and Uchitel reportedly visits her “often“.
Ms. Bishop’s response to Lambiet’s questioning about the alleged Woods affair reminds of her daughter’s treatment of the situation: “I can’t talk about this. But I can tell you I’ve never met Tiger Woods or heard anything about it until these stories came out.”
She can’t talk about it, but then she talks about it. Love that.
Lambiet also reports Uchitel lives in a $4,000-a-month Manhattan apartment in the Chelsea neighbored.
It’s clear that Uchitel leads a charmed life. Really, as good as it gets. In hiring Gloria Allred to rep her in a possibly defamation case, it appears she now may be looking to parlay the National Enquirer charges into fame for herself.
She might be careful what she wishes for.

Checking USA people search, Rachel Uchitel is linked to oliver jabib asmar and possibly was married to him.
He is now in Annandale, Va and may be an MD.
There are a lot of Uchitels in Brooklyn.

Wow, I wonder what her other relatives did for a living. How fascinating.
