I think the real story would be to find someone with Tiger's stature and opportunity who hasn't crossed the line. Infidelity is not likely one of the demons Elin prepared for when she married Tiger, but I think it comes with the "Fame and Fortune Beyond Your Wildest Dreams" package, which was obviously front and center at the outset of their relationship, and Elin was probably ready for that. The stupid part of this unfortunate story is how it presented itself to the public - this seems like something you'd see on COPS - we should have NEVER been privy to any of the sordid details, much less been able to speculate as to how the Woods' were handling all of the infidelity rumours swirling around Tiger. These things should remain private, especially for couples trying to mend. If the Woods' are in fact trying to mend, my hope is that they are allowed to continue, and that our media spotlight soon swings to matters more urgent and worthwile.
