Tiger Manse Purchase Report “Hilariously” Wrong

NEWSDAY gleefully reports today that a NEW YORK POST report about Tiger Woods buying a $65M is wrong.

New York Post gets Tiger Woods mansion story wrong

The Post report: “Tiger has a brand-new lair - a $65 million estate in the Hamptons where he can send his chip shots flying into the ocean.”

But the agent who listed the property had a completely different story to tell.

The agent who listed and sold the $65 million Southampton mansion that closed last week said golfer Tiger Woods is not involved either as the buyer or seller of the property, despite a report in today’s New York Post.

Beate Moore of Sotheby’s International Realty continued to cite a strict confidentiality agreement in not revealing the parties involved, but says she is “stunned” at the rumor that Woods was the purchaser of the property. “It is hilarious…I don’t know where this comes from,” she said, adding, “there’s not an ounce of truth to it.”

Ms. Moore obviously doesn’t read the NYP regularly, ‘else she wouldn’t be so stunned.
