One of my favorite courses, tthe MT. Angel Course, near Salem, OR, had some nasty Blackberry bushes on steep hillside constantly encroaching onto the #6 Teebox. One of the Members thetered a really sweet little Goat named Bogey, to nibble down these bushes....Now as #6 is right by the Clubhouse, while waiting for this difficult Par 3 to clear, everyone would send one or two into the Clubhouse for some Hot Dogs, Chips, and a six-pack... The admonition would always be, "Don't forget to bring a beer and a Hot Dog for Dear Little Bogey". (There was a bowl kept near his tether that many poured beer into) and pieces of Hot Dogs, Pizza, and chips and such were left by many playing #6... One of my fondest memories of a wonderful Club owned by the late Jim Hynds, Sr, a Chick Evans Scholar at Univ. of Washington. Willybee Outstanding !!!
