.500 football? hahahahaha!!!

The Lions were the worst team in NFL history last year. They have no areas of strength. They need to draft Stafford, sign about 4 free agent tackles, and draft the "best available" at every pick. That might get them to 5-11, but only because their division is lousy.

I think the Lions realize they have many more needs to fill, via this #1 pick, than just getting a QB. Or, one player, regardless of position. But, evidently the price they are asking to trade the pick has scared off teams that may be interested in aquiring the #1 pick. This Lions fan hopes they can resolve the dilemma and get the pick traded. A QB we don't need, really. Getting a college player at the position will not solve our need to start winning some games, right now! After an 0-16 season, the last thing Detroit needs is a 2-14, 1-15, or even a 5-10 season. This team needs to address some larger needs and try to play .500 football or better in 2009.
