Some servers claimed selling alcohol to people who appear to be younger than 30 and present out-of-state IDs is against state law and State Fair of Texas policy.

Texas State Fair officials have since cleared up the confusion with servers, and all comers who are of age and possess valid ID (from all states) will be served.

We were considering attending this year’s Red River rivalry game, but after both teams played last weekend like they’d just ingested a bag of Olestra-based Bugels, we’ll instead watch a height-impaired Irishman this Saturday as he’s thrown to the Bruins in the Rose Bowl.
