BUSTED TANK GETS RETREAD, SIGNS UP WITH COWBOYS: Tank Johnson has rolled into Dallas, where the suspended defensive tackle has signed a two-year deal with the Cowboys:

The DALLAS MORNING NEWS reports Johnson will likely have to wait until November before suiting up for his new team, since he has to finish serving out his league suspension.
Tank was decommissioned from Chicago last June, when the Bears released him three days after a DUI charge in Arizona. Last December, he was found with unlicensed weapons in his home, almost costing Tank a trip to Super Bowl XLI.
These and other shenanigans prompted NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to slap an 8-game suspension on Tank to start the 2007 season.
Johnson joins other law-abiding citizens such as Michael Irvin, Nate Newton, and Barry Switzer to have roamed around the turf of Texas Stadium.

So Tank should be able to get some good recommendations for local bail bondsmen.
