The Chinese “Super Bowl” Stars Larry Krystkowiak

The Bucks and Rockets meet up tonight in Milwaukee in what is certainly an intriguing tilt. Not to anyone in the Lower 48 outside of Milwaukee or Houston mind you, but for the over 200 million who will watch the game live on Chinese Television.

Yi Jianlian Yao Ming

Charles F. Gardner of the MILWAUKEE JOURNAL-SENTINEL reports the ratings for the November Yao Ming-Yi Jianlian NBA telecast in China: 200 million viewers. This broadcast, which will start at 8:30AM in China, is expected to draw even more.

Bucks coach Larry Krystkowiak: “I look at it almost as the Chinese Super Bowl. Then we’ll have the American version of the Super Bowl the next night, which will be watched by about half as many people.

The other Coach K. is dead-on. And we’ve already three-hundy on the “How many dunks with Andrew Bogut miss” prop.
