Oaks Christian High School in Westlake Village, California is loaded at the quarterback position. Not only are there six signal callers on the roster, two of them are from great athletic bloodlines.

(Nicholas Montana - is that his number or his area code?)
Trevor Gretzky, son of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, has ditched his dad’s skates for the gridiron. Nicholas Montana is following in his father Joe’s footsteps. Both teens are fighting for the second string quarterback job, and Oaks Christian head football coach Bill Redell says there will be no favorite playing. Read more…

• Are Alex Rodriguez and the little missus on the fast track to splitsville?

• The Kansas City Wizards sure know how to treat their female employees.
• What Dwyane Wade & Michael Beasley have is a failure to communicate.
• It’s dangerous to come between a man and his woman, but it’s even worse to come between a Razorback and his scooter.
• No one is safe from Joe Maddon’s “Devil Rays” dollar fine - not even John Challis, the Pennsylvania teen battling terminal cancer.

Wayne Gretzky’s daughter appears to be blossoming into quite the putting princess, the type of golfer that makes you go ga-ga.

PUCK DADDY tees up pics of Paulina Gretzky, the 19-year-old offspring of the Great One & Janet Jones Gretzky, hitting the links during Dad’s celebrity golf tournament in Clarksburg, Ontario. She was joined on the fairway by such luminaries as Charles Barkley and Alan Thicke.
You might wonder what her score was. Looking at the above photo, does it really matter?
But it’s not just the golf world that Li’l Paulie hopes to conquer. Read more…

Former Phillie-turned-fortune seeker Lenny Dykstra is hoping to make some more moolah by selling off his lavish L.A.-area abode.

Tom Hoffarth of FARTHER OFF THE WALL reports that Dykstra is seeking almost $25 million for the home once owned by Wayne Gretzky. If you like space, Lenny’s place has plenty of it - 12,713 square feet with 8 bedrooms and 7 baths situated on 7 acres of land.
But so much room was apparently too much for Lenny to deal with:

In case you didn’t know (and it’s a good bet you don’t), hockey legend Wayne Gretzky just notched his 100th win as coach.

The CANADIAN PRESS reports that the Great One reached the century mark Monday night when his Phoenix Coyotes beat the Los Angeles Kings 4-0. But Gretzky really doesn’t have much to be happy about these days. Read more…

LENNY KRAVITZ LETTING HIS LOVE RULE AT CFL GREY CUP: When SbB broke the news that the Eagles would be the halftime band for the Super Bowl, many of our neighbors to the north must have been wondering, “But what about the entertainment for *our* Super Bowl, the Grey Cup?”
Wonder no more, our Canuck compadres, as the Canadian Football League has announced that Lenny Kravitz will be highlighting the halftime festivities pour Le Coupe Grey.Mama Said that the multi-platinum artist would want to get away, would want to flyyyyyyy away to the Rogers Centre (a.k.a. Skydome) on November 25, where he’ll be singing & strumming on the 55-yard line during the 95th edition of the CFL championship.
Lenny will be following in the 3-down footsteps of other artists to rock ‘n’ rouge, such as Nelly Furtado, Shania Twain, The Black Eyed Peas and of course, Bryan Adams.
We’re hoping they snag Barenaked Ladies for the 96th Cup. And if the CFL committee needs any help in selecting next year’s show-stoppers, they can always check Wayne Gretzky’s iPod to see what the Great One has going on.
