New Wine Collection Features Rescued Vick Dogs
We’ve recently found out what financial folly Michael Vick has been up to as he gets ready to leave Leavenworth. But what about the poor creatures that were the reason for his incarceration in the first place? The animals that were rescued from Vick’s dogfighting operation are still undergoing rehab. And one winemaker wants to make sure the dogs remain as the toast of the town.
The ASSOCIATED PRESS drinks in the news of a new vintage for sale called the “Vicktory Dogs Wine Collection”. The bottles feature painted portraits of 22 dogs that were taken from Vick’s Bad Newz Kennel. And on the back of the bottles, the description of the wines has been replaced with stories of each dog’s journey from hell to rehabilitation.
