Patriots Ravens ESPN Game Largest Cable TV Audience In History
PATS-BALTO TELECAST HIGHEST-RATED IN CABLE HISTORY: John Ourand of SPORTS BUSINESS DAILY reports that “ESPN drew 17.5 million viewers for Monday night’s Patriots-Ravens game, surpassing Disney Channel’s telecast of “High School Musical 2″ in August, which drew 17.2 million viewers, as cable’s biggest-ever audience.”

“Pats-Ravens also set a record by averaging 12.529 million homes. The most-viewed “MNF” game last year was Giants-Cowboys on October 23, which averaged 11.807 million homes.”

So the Patriots’ quest for perfection is bigger than High School Musical? Let’s just hope this doesn’t lead to the odd, stray nude snap of Logan Mankins surfacing.We don’t know what telecast is third in the all-time cable ratings race, but we have to believe that Keanu Reeves’ appearance on Bravo’s “Inside the Actors Studio” has to be right up there.
