Every now and then, you see a headline that pairs two famous people of such incongruous worlds that it takes two or three good looks at it before it even starts to make sense. Add in an arrest for assault, though, and all minds are blown.
(A match made in… well, it’s definitely not heaven.)
That’s where we are with the news out of San Diego today as Shawne Merriman, he of the ever-sunny disposition, just got arrested early this morning for battery and false imprisonment in a case involving Myspace’s very first starlet, Tila “Tequila” Nguyen. Seriously, that happened.

Guess Tom Brady doesn’t have it so great, after all. The Pats QB lost his chance at perfection. ESPN has it in for him & his team. But worse of all - he’s not even dating one of the world’s 100 hottest women.
(That’s right, Gisele - hang your head in shame)
The BOSTON HERALD’S INSIDE TRACK uncovers the shameful news that Brady’s babe Gisele Bundchen didn’t make the cut for this year’s Maxim Hot 100. (So, that’s why Derek Jeter never hooked up with her.)
With this disappointing revelation, along with the ongoing Spygate stuff, could this week get any worse for poor ol’ Tom?

HHR has a nice find in the DAYTON DAILY NEWS, which reported recently that a local Ohio high school football coach, Brandon “Bo” Kunkle, is appearing in a bisexually-themed dating show on MTV.
(Unfortunate facial hair, earrings, bisexual dating show. Perfect!)
The show centers on Myspace creation Tila Tequila. How the homosexual angle is shoehorned in there, we have no idea. As you might expect, Kunkle’s appearance on the show has caused quite a stir at the school where he coaches. Read more…
