WITH DODGERS SHAKE-UP, WILL A-ROD SOON FEEL BLUE? Now that Grady Little has departed the Dodgers, and Joe Torre appearing to be on deck, will we soon see L.A.-Rod?
Agent Scott Boras talked to KSPN-AM in Los Angeles about his client’s possible destinations. Radio hosts Steve Mason & John Ireland questioned Boras on where the ex-Yankee’s next slide home would be - such as Chavez Ravine.When asked if A-Rod’s choice would solely be influenced by monetary gain, Boras replied, “He wants to win a world championship, and he wants to make sure he’s got an owner committed to making that happen.”
However, Yankees broadcaster Suzyn Waldman, appearing on the show later on, cried out what Rodriguez was really after: “He’s gonna go wherever the money is.”
Speaking of cashing in, BODOG has been running odds on where A-Rod will end up. Right now, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, California, USA, North America are on top of the leaderboard with a 3-to-1 shot.The leaderless Dodgers sit at 7-to-2, while the current champion Boston Red Sox are given 11-to-2 odds.
