6:00 PM MLB's general managers spent today's meetings discussing many things. However, the issue of expanding instant replay was not among them. Joe Mauer must be pretty miffed. Well, he would be if he wasn't all wrapped up in bubble wrap.

5:46 PM Seton Hall guard Keon Lawrence has been suspended indefinitely from the team. Lawrence was involved in a wrong-way car crash early Monday morning, and has been charged with drunk driving & driving with a suspended license.

5:30 PM Jason La Canfora of NFL.com reports that Larry Johnson has cleared waivers, which means the Chiefs are the ones who'll have to pay the $2.3 million remaining on LJ's contract. La Canfora also speculates that Johnson will eventually wind up with the Houston Texans.

5:15 PM Chris Douglas-Roberts is amused by people's reaction that he has H1N1. The NJ Nets forward Tweets: "Hahahahahaaaa. Everybody wants a Swine Flu picture. That's funny as hell. Am I suppose to look different?"
