Vince Young stood up on Thursday and declared that his commitment to football has never wavered and that he’s never experienced any sort of deep depression, despite comments from his mother that he might be considering quitting football.

But word emerged Friday that Young’s therapist told the Titans that Young spoke to her of suicide and said he had a gun with him, prompting a Monday police search.
