Holder of Bonds’ 762nd HR Hoping To Have $1 Mil
KCNC-TV in Denver reports that the fan who caught Barry Bonds’ possible last home run has finally come forward. And the holder of the hopefully historic horsehide plans to auction it off, maybe selling it for up to … (dramatic zoom-in) ONE MILLION DOLLARS!
Jameson Sutton was the lucky fan to walk away from Coors Field on Sept. 5 with Barry’s base-clearing boomer #762. But the ball bearer had stayed anonymous for months, until an auction house was able to track him down.
