NASCAR’s Proposed Pachyderm Race Postponed
The New Hampshire Motor Speedway hosted the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 on Sunday, with Kurt Busch coming out on top in front of a sold-out track crowd. While some spectators may have been pleased to see Kurt end his 29-race losing streak, we’re sure a lot more fans were disappointed that they were cheated out of a pre-event elephant race.
John Ryan of the SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS trumpets up the trouble NASCAR officials had in pulling off the proposed pachyderm sprint before the gas-guzzling festivities resumed.
