7:45 PM A Japanese Harley-Davidson motorcycle that was swept out to sea during last year's tsunami washed up on a shore in British Columbia last month. The bike's owner asked that the motorcycle be displayed at the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee as a memorial to the tsunami victims.
7:30 PM Buffalo Bills receiver David Clowneytweeted the results of his HIV test which came back negative. And to the critics of his decision to share his results, Clowney added: "Some people are Ridiculously stupid ... And can't see the bigger picture about things that are important in this world."
Two Montreal Canadiens were arrested outside a Tampa nightclub early Monday morning - all because of a stolen purse.
The CBC reports that Ryan O’Byrne was charged with grand theft, while teammate Tom Kostopoulos was charged with resisting an officer. It all started when a woman at the Whiskey Park bar told security her purse was missing. The bar’s bouncers apparently saw O’Byrne outside the bar with the purse and the woman’s cellphone.
Police soon arrived to question the hockey player about the purse. And he gave quite an unconvincing answer.
LAFLEUR HELPS SON SCORE WITH 16YO WHILE OUT ON BAIL While Andy Reid gets roasted for the behavior of his two felonious sons, hockey legend Guy Lafleur is getting similar (and justifiable) treatment north of the border.
The ASSOCIATED PRESS reports Lafleur’s “23-year-old son faces more than 20 criminal charges, including sexually assaulting a minor, armed assault, uttering threats, and forcible confinement between 2004 and 2007.”
Lafleur recently petitioned the court to allow his son, who has been living at halfway houses, to live with him full-time until the trial is over (it doesn’t start until May!). But his request was denied because the local authorities found out Lafleur was allowing his 23-year-old son to hook up with a 16-year-old in motel rooms whenever a visit by the court was allowed. Lafleur “has since admitted that he drove his son to hotels to spend the night with his girlfriend.”
