The Gold Medal-winning U.S Olympic women’s soccer team appeared this week on "Good Morning America."
During the visit, host Charles Gibson played a new Gatorade spot dedicated to retiring player Mia Hamm.
The ad, which includes Michael Jordan, Landon Donovan, Billie Jean King, Kerri Walsh, several teammates and husband Nomar Garciaparra, was tagged with, "It’s Always Been In Her. Is It In You?"
Don’t cha think they could’ve thought of a better slogan than "It’s Always Been In Her?" If that’s the case, isn’t Nomah the only person that would’ve been an appropriate casting for the spot (I don’t even want to think about Billie Jean King)?

BLOOMBERG reports Mia Hamm said she will "retire from major competitions" after the Athens Olympics.
Hamm: "It’s time to take the next step in my life."
I guess if she’s only retiring from "major" competitions, that doesn’t rule out her future participation in the WUSA.

How romantic.
