Lincoln University of Pennsylvania made its NCAA softball debut Sunday in a doubleheader - and it became twice the headache.

The Lady Lions were declawed by West Chester 48-0 in Game 1, but did show some improvement by Game 2, only falling by a 30-0 score. Tanina Cook was the lone offensive star for Lincoln, managing to get one hit in each game - while the rest of her teammates drew blanks.

But the combined 78-0 softball slaughter could be a case of athletic karma coming back to bite the Lions. Read more…
