A couple of Dallas Cowboys are putting the “heavy” in “heavy metal”.
Meet Free Reign, a rock ‘n’ roll group comprised of current Cowboys Marc Columbo (lead vocals & guitar/right tackle, 6′8″, 315 lbs.), Leonard Davis (bass/right guard, 6′ 6″, 354 lbs.) and Cory Proctor (drums/center, 6′ 4″, 297 lbs.). Joined by Davis’ former high school teammate Justin Chapman on lead guitar, these big boys want to make a big splash on the Metroplex music scene.
UN-VICK-LIKE NFLer HOOFS IT TO HELP HINDERED HORSE: New Cowboys lineman Leonard Davis saved a horse from drowning, receiving thanks from an animal-rights group:
Davis saw the animal stuck in the mud near his home in Arizona. He got his tractor & some straps, tied them around the horse, and helped pull the beast up and out to safety.
For his actions, PETA sent Davis a ‘Compassionate Action’ award and a box of vegan chocolates. And with the former Texas Longhorn leaving the Cardinals for Dallas, things are looking up for “Big” Davis with the big heart for animals.
