Sign #1 your relationship might not be guaranteed eternal wedded bliss: You’re a professional athlete and she’s a cheerleader. Sign #2: She files a paternity suit, and you demand a DNA test before you’ll pay any child support. And sign #3: You’re accused of pulling out her hair, and slamming her head against a marble floor.

That’s the charge brought against Larry Fitzgerald by the mother of his child, former Raiderette Angela Nazario. Nazario claims she brought their 11-month-old son to Fitzgerald’s Phoenix home for a visit, they started arguing. Let’s see how the plaintiff describes how a multimillionaire athlete calmly and maturely handles a disagreement, after the jump.

C.J. of the MINNEAPOLIS STAR-TRIBUNE reels in all the fun & frivolity that took place at the Wednesday night pre-party for the E.J. Henderson Celebrity Bass Challenge.

Before hitting the lake to tackle some trout for the Vikings linebacker’s charity organization, some Twin Cities bigwigs chatted it up while chomping down on some sushi at the gala event.
And two local sports stars spotted chatting together were E.J.’s brother & fellow Vikings linebacker Erin and Candice Wiggins of the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx: Read more…

LEINART UNINVITED TO THE KURT’S “GOOD SPORT’S GANG”: AZ SPORTS HUB has a trailer for a Christian cartoon that features Kurt Warner:
The animated featured cooks up something called the “Good Sports Gang”, which we’re pretty sure won’t be including Warner teammates Matt Leinart or Larry Fitzgerald anytime soon.
Warner sadly has no love interest on the program, but here’s hoping a gender-neutral volleyball will soon be added to the show’s cast, so we can then watch the sparks fly!

DADDY! CARDINALS’ FITZGERALD RECEIVES BABY NOTICE: An NFL receiver spent too much time in someone’s red zone, and now he might have to toss up child support:
TMZ delivers the news that Larry Fitzgerald of the Arizona Cardinals is being hit with a paternity suit filed by a former Oakland Raiders cheerleader.
Angela Nazario says that her baby, due in January, is a result of a previous relationship with Fitzgerald. But the player wants a DNA test done after the birth before he shells out for the youngster.
A source close to Nazario claims that Fitzgerald told her to hide out in a small town, and even suggested she get an abortion.
Fitzgerald reportedly was hoping not to suffer the same fate as his Cardinals teammate, saying, “I don’t need this all over the news like Matt Leinart.”
