The ratings are out and the Khloe Kardashian-Lamar Odom wedding special on E! beat AMC’s season finale of “Mad Men” by a substantial amount last week, to the surprise of no one. But to be fair, you can’t really compare the two events. One’s a show about cutthroat advertising execs pushing their product with little regard for morals or truth, and the other is “Mad Men.”
Look, let’s just agree that both were fiction. Season three of “Mad Men” ended with pretty hefty ratings, as is befitting one of the best shows on television. Well-acted, superbly written, with something to say about who we are as Americans and where we seem to be going. But on the other channel, hey, look at Khloe’s wedding dress! Read more…
Not exactly a startling revelation, but NBA player Rashad McCants this week told the NEW YORK POST that he had already split with Khloe Kardashian when Kardashian taped an episode of her faux reality show about a fraudulent scenario between the two.
There was nothing real about his stint on former girlfriend Khloe Kardashian’s reality show. The shooting guard said Khloe and sister Kourtney, who claimed he cheated on Khloe, “made the whole thing up.” McCants said a “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami” episode — where they were seen hacking into McCants’ voice mail and listening to suggestive phone messages apparently left for him by a female fan — was staged.
He said the curvy sisters did not have his current phone number and he and Khloe “had already called it quits” in January, before the segment was even taped.
I don’t know if this is the case already or not, but shouldn’t *reality* shows start airing disclaimers before the program airs, to alert viewers that they are being mislead and deceived? Read more…
Urban gossip site Bossip.com is reporting today that Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush have decided to get married in 2010.
(You may feel the need to towel off after reading this too)
Sources close to Kim say she has started planning process her fantasy wedding to boyfriend Reggie Bush. Kim apparently was inspired by Khloe and Lamar’s hasty love union.
Lovely, can’t think of a better reason in selecting a life partner.
After Bush dumped Kim earlier this year, apparently the two reunited in August and have been inseparable ever since - at least if you believe Kim and her publicist.
Speaking of romantic:
The two are said to have started planning their own wedding after Kim asked Reggie about walking down the aisle in New Orleans after attending Khloe’s wedding. Surprisingly, Reggie said “lets do it.”
So Kim proposed? Reg sure sounds down with the plan.
Lest you think though that this won’t be a business endeavor akin to the KhlOdom mock marriage, Kim is allegedly planning the same sort of money-making arrangement her sister scored with producer Ryan Seacrest. Read more…
Lamar Odom’s Baby Momma Liza Morales sent some new glamour shots to Media Takeout in order to protest those who claim she looks like
Bigfoot Khloe Kardashian. Here’s the original comparison I posted recently.

This week the Lamar Odom unveiled his much-anticipated clothing line in Beverly Hills, and when they weren’t overawed by Odom’s fashion mastery (Khloe: “I love it, I think it’s amazing!”, the press quizzed Odom and Khloe Kardashian about some of the details of their mock marriage.
(Shirt: Part of Odom’s new fashion line)
When asked about having kids with Kardashian, Odom said, “Maybe one day, hopefully. That’s what kings and queens are put on the earth for, to have offspring.”
Having kids is certainly a natural progression for any made-for-ryan-seacrest-produced-reality-tv-show couple. And the good news is, the pseudo newlyweds don’t have to rush because Odom already has two kids - right Khloe?
(Do you think I’m good looking?)
It’s been reported the last 48 hours that Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian have agreed to a pre-nuptial agreement. RadarOnline.com is claiming an “exclusive” in providing these details:
a flat sum of about $500,000 for every year they were married, $25,000 a month in general support, their new house, a new luxury vehicle at the end of every lease cycle, $5,000 a month for shopping, $1,000 for beauty care AND courtside Lakers tickets for everyone in her family
Not too sure how exclusive that is though, considering the exact same information has been circulating on the web for weeks now - probably leaked by the Kardashian camp.
But there’s at least one report claiming intimate knowledge of the *agreement*, and her account is quite different than what the main media was fed. Read more…
STAR MAGAZINE catches Lamar Odom possibly having a Michael Beasley moment, at a Labor Day house party in Malibu.
Excerpt from Star article on Odom:
Could Lamar’s basketball career go up in smoke? At a Labor Day house party in Malibu, the Lakers forward openly lit up and — puffed away! “You could smell it — it was definitely marijuana,” and insider claims. “It was really strong! Lamar was smoking and sharing the joint with other people.”

Since I reported Matt “Money” Smith of the Petros and Money Show on Fox Sports Radio said Lamar Odom proposed to a woman (and was jilted) just before he consumated his pseudo-nuptials with Khloe Kardashian, the search has been on to figure out just who that woman was.
(Jordan turned down Odom’s wedding proposal week before Khloe? Probably)
Actress Taraji Henson was a possibility, having been seen with Odom earlier in the year. But another name *coincidentally* popped up on TMZ’s TV show the day after my report: Claudia Jordan.
Jordan also fits Smith’s description of a famewhore who “graces the pages of TMZ”. More importantly she was seen with a beaming Odom only a week before he met Kardashian. So the gossip enterprise went straight to the source, interviewing Jordan in-house for its TV show on Saturday.

Just as I’d weaned myself off the made-for-TV fake marriage of Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian, I heard something that had me tapping my mainline again.
(Did Odom propose to this woman weeks before marrying Khloe?)
If you’ve driven around Los Angeles the past few years, you’ve probably seen billboards for the “Petros and Money Show“, a popular sports radio show on KLAC-AM and syndicated nationally on Fox Sports Radio. Petros Papadakis and Matt “Money” Smith have also filled in many times on Jim Rome’s national radio show and appeared on Rome’s ESPN-TV Show Rome Is Burning.
Smith is also a former Lakers radio host. Over the past four years, he hosted all of the Lakers pregame and postgame shows, did some play-by-play of the games and occasionally traveled with the team.
Needless to say, he’s been very close to the Lakers organization during that time, so I take very seriously the bombshell Smith dropped on his radio show yesterday about Lamar Odom. Read more…
Lamar Odom finally went on the record today to talk about his “marriage” to Khloe Kardashian, which incidentally is not yet a legal union. (And for all we know, never will be.)
(Lamar Odom: More Alone Than He Knows)
Odom gave it up to ESPN 710’s Steve Mason and John Ireland, who host an afternoon drive show on the Los Angeles station. Why those guys? Ireland is also sideline reporter for Lakers TV broadcasts and travels with the team for months on end, so Odom obviously knows and trusts him.
The interview was more than a little awkward when it came to Odom talking about his relationship with Kardashian, as he was somewhat contractually constrained by E! over how he could express his undying love and affection for a woman whom he met a mere month ago.
But the radio duo did glean an iota of insight from Odom on why he decided to (loosely) tie the knot.
