Last year former Indianapolis Colts cheerleader Malori Wampler filed a lawsuit in an Indiana Federal Court against the team contesting her November 15, 2010, termination by the NFL club. Wampler was fired after Colts officials received a letter that included photos of Wampler - covered only in body paint - taken at two Playboy promotional events.

Apparently giving out a car, trip to the Pro Bowl and other prizes via impromptu Twitter trivia contests wasn’t enough for Indianapolis Colts Owner Jim Irsay.

Today Irsay gave away a trip for two to the Super Bowl in Dallas to one of his Twitter “friends”.

Sam Farmer of the LOS ANGELES TIMES reports today that Indy Colts Owner Jim Irsay is making a push to have the Super Bowl in 2016 held in Los Angeles. That year is no coincidence, as it’s 50th anniversary of the first Super Bowl, staged in Los Angeles at the Coliseum.

(If Packers make Super Bowl 50, I certainly don’t forsee need for holdup)
No way in hell, right? Well Irsay is somewhat influential in the league when it comes to the big game, as he serves on the NFL’s Super Bowl committee. And you would think it might make sense as there could already be 1-2 NFL franchises planted in SoCal by the time 2016 rolls around. (Stop rolling your eyes.)
Irsay though sees it as the other way around.

Jim Irsay is hoping the Hoosier State will soon be hosting the Super Bowl, as the Colts owner makes his proposal to the NFL.

Mike Chappell of the INDIANAPOLIS STAR reports that Irsay will be heading down to Atlanta, pleading his case to fellow league owners to bring the 2012 Big Game to the Crossroads of America.
