The New York Giants are feeling like unwelcomed guests for their playoff visit to Tampa Bay. Not because of anything the Buccaneers did, but because of the lack of hotel rooms:
The ST. PETERSBURG TIMES checks out the news of Eli Manning & pals scrambling for accommodations before their Sunday smackdown. With an influx of tourists and a photographers convention coming to town, the G-Men couldn’t find enough lodging around Raymond James Stadium or in downtown Tampa.
So the team had to travel across the bay to St. Petersburg in order to get the 200 rooms necessary for the visiting squad.
