BRONCOS FAN GETS IN TROUBLE FOR TOOTING OWN HORN: A 69-year-old Broncos fan likes to toot her own horn, and neighbors are sick of hearing it:

KUSA-TV reports that Jeri Priest faces charges of disorderly conduct for blasting her self-named “Broncos Horn” after every Denver score on Sundays. It’s one thing if she’s been doing it at Mile High Stadium, but her blasts have been bellowing from her Adams County home.The device, built by her husband over 30 years ago, is described as a two-wheel dolly holding six car horns all hooked up to a car battery. A relay switch lets Jeri honks for joy “from the comfort of her home” - so she doesn’t have to listen to that awful racket outside.

But some nearby homeowners aren’t sharing in Priest’s enthusiasm, and have complained to police about the horny situation. She was finally brought in on Monday to face the music.

The charges could lead to a $500 fine and up to 6 months in jail for Priest. But Jeri will not be easily silenced, saying, “Go Broncos, I love the Broncos. I don’t care if they lost yesterday, I still honk the horns, I’m always a Broncos fan.”
