Friday afternoon we had the news that Glen Rice was thrown in jail for attacking a man who was hiding in the closet of the Miami home of his estranged wife, Christina. The man, 47-year-old Alberto Perez, was reportedly hit in the face, grabbed by the neck and thrown out of the bedroom. Perez then fled the house and called police.
Rice’s reaction seems somewhat justified, since it appears Perez may have had sex with his wife. But we seriously doubt he would’ve taken the same action if he’d known just how important that closeted man was. Turns out Mr. Perez also happens to be an aerobics instructor. And not just any aerobics instructor, but the inventor of Zumba!™
WIOD-AM of Miami reports that former NBA player Glen Rice has been arrested for battery, after pummeling a guy at his estranged wife’s house.
Investigators say Rice entered the home of his wife, Christina, and confronted her about having other men in the house. He soon found 47-year-old Alberto Perez hiding in a bedroom closet. Rice then reportedly hit Perez in the face, grabbed him by the neck, and threw him out of the bedroom. Perez then fled the house & called police.
Shocking that Glen would be so distrusting of his wife, since she’s been so supportive of him in the past.
