Last year, we took an in-depth look at the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders and their attempts at an environmentally-friendly bikini photo shoot. Well, it’s another season, and that means it’s time for another bikini shoot!
No word if this year’s gaggle of Eagles gals are posing in swimwear salvaged from soda bottles or jewelry reconditioned from CDs and candy wrappers. But the activities going down in Aruba are still just as alluring.
(In other words, more photos after the jump.)
With over 6,000 photos of beautiful women, many in bikinis, on this website, I confess to not being a prude. But I can’t say the same for Ed Bouchette of the PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE.
(Hmmm, where have I seen this warning before?)
In a recent NFL notes column, Bouchette wrote, “remember when most everyone in the NFL became highly upset when an ABC-TV promotion featuring wide receiver Terrell Owens and “Desperate Housewives” star Nicollette Sheridan appeared before a Monday Night game in 2004? The league practically forced ABC to apologize for the sexually suggestive ad.
“Perhaps the league should turn its sights in-house if they are concerned so much about sex and its viewing public. All anyone needs to do is go to Philadelphia-Eagles.com.”
Wait, so there’s something sexually suggestive on the Eagles website? Sounds like cause for a thorough investigation into the matter. Thanks Ed! Read more…
Now that Euro 2008 is finally finished, English soccer can return to being relevant again. And INHABITAT welcomes British balling back into the news by showing sketches of a proposed stadium for the city of Portsmouth.
Swiss architects Herzog & De Mueron have released renderings of the pitch planned for the Portsmouth waterfront. The 36,000-seat stadium project also includes housing, an exhibition center and a community park - all for the suggested retail price of £600 million ($1.2 billion in American dough).
That might seem a bit steep, but can you really put a price on building efforts that will help save the environment? Read more…
The Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders have been such a great service to mankind, with their sideline dancing and lingerie calendars and such. And now, in addition to being providers of alluring entertainment, the Philly pom-pom girls are doing their part to save the environment.
WITH LEATHER sorts & separates the news that this year’s cheerleader bikini calendar is going to be eco-friendly - or as the Eagles prefer to put it, eco-sexy! (With more pics after the jump.)
